From October 27 to 31, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a familiarization trip for representatives of 12 leading Polish tourism companies.

As part of efforts to promote potential partnerships and cooperation between the tourism industries of Poland and Azerbaijan, B2B (business-to-business) meetings were held with nearly 30 local tourism companies.

During the visit, Polish tourism industry representatives not only participated in business meetings but also explored Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage, winter sports tourism offerings, and the modern ski infrastructure at the Shahdag Mountain Resort.

Notably, from January to September 2024, a total of 183 flights were operated between Warsaw and Baku, with an average of five flights per week.

During the same period, the number of visitors from Poland to Azerbaijan reached 7,886, marking a 36% increase compared to the same period last year.
